The devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on Tuesday did not stop the tourism industry.
A few days after the earthquake luxury cruise ships have returned to land on the beaches of the Caribbean island. The Independence of the Seas, owned ship Royal Caribbean International with 4,370 people aboard, landed Friday on a private beach resort of Labadee, rented by the Government of Haiti, about 130 km north of the capital Port-au-Prince, the epicenter of the earthquake. The Navigator of the Seas, carrying 3,100 passengers, is about to dock. "

Now surely some of you will say that tourism is a holy hand, so that there's money there, etc. etc..
I think it is an affront to human dignity, dear friends, ignore, or pretend that problems do not exist and that this is life. Cynicism is now an integral part of our society, the society that ignores, even worse, pretend to ignore that Zimbabwe are living with € 200 a year, and to Haity per capita income is 1300 € per year (source USA Today)
There needs to be convinced that perhaps much of this catastrophe is also due to our lifestyle and of our selfishness.
There will still be a reward for everything, perhaps we did not notice, we do not realize that all of us wild we are all consumers, without exception, on board a beautiful ship sailing at full speed towards disaster.

Welcome aboard the Titanic.
